As we highlight our current needs, we can’t fail to recognize the incredible impact of the support we receive from our sponsors and partners! Your support is invaluable and your contribution always inspires us to keep working towards this shared vision of making a positive impact to children’s lives.
Our course is expanding as each day passes and we are in dire need of more partners and supporters so that we may stretch our horizons and impact even more children and families.
We believe this is possible and therefore invite you to walk with us in prayer, financial support, volunteering in person and any other way that is beneficial.

Children’s Home

Transport mode: We currently have one bus and are in need of another in order to accommodate our growing population. This will ease our movements as sometimes we’re forced to seek other alternatives including hiring or minimizing the number of children who can go at a time.
Having an additional bus will help to ensure reliability & that all of the children are able to travel safely and comfortably.
Road construction: During the rainy season we are sometimes faced with the challenge of our vehicles getting stuck on the mud. Our soil is black cotton which is very slippery and sometimes damages our vehicles. It is our wish that we find a permanent solution to this by constructing a road that will prove beneficial & enhance convenience for everyone.

Trips & Adventures (Both school & home): We desire to take our children on trips and adventures as most of them have never been out of the slum environment. We believe this trips and adventures shifts their mindsets and provides opportunities for their growth and development. This exposure goes a long way at ensuring they desire a fulfilling life & have a better understanding of the world around them. The children also get to bond amongst themselves relieving them of any kind of stress. We have also observed that these experiences have resulted in the children developing cognitively and their creativity also increasing.
Hence, we are in need of frequent trips, holidays and adventures. We both know the impact of what a change of environment can bring!

Education: As we strive to ensure our children get the state of the art education; we can’t fail but acknowledge the fact that it has become a costly affair. There has been a rise in the cost of school fees and the prices of books and other educational materials.
Having children ranging from kindergarten level all the way to university and meeting all their needs is sometimes very demanding. We are hence in need of more funds in order to ease the burden of ensuring they access quality education.

Church

Land Purchase: Savior King Worship center has had a tremendous impact not only on our children but also to the community.
What started as a children’s church has now grown and is accommodating all people groups.
We’re not only meeting the people’s spiritual needs but also their physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs.
We are centered on the core values of community, fellowship and love as well as be a house of worship.
The land we’re currently on is rented and it’s our desire to settle and build permanently so that we continue with advancing God’s mandate of spreading hope.
We would love to hold worship services, community outreach programs, educational initiatives, discipleship programs and other activities.
We are therefore seeking partners and like-minded individuals who will be instrumental for this dream to come true.

School

Feeding Programme: The school feeding program has been impacted by the high cost of living which has affected the cost of maize, beans and other commodities, which has in turn impacted this program. It has been challenging to maintain a program that is dependent on external funding, especially when the cost of essential resources such as food increases.
Library Books: With the recent change in the curriculum made by the ministry of education, we are in need of more books as most of the kids in the slum have no access.
